Sausage and white bean cassoulet

  • Spray cooking oil
  • 1kg Coles Finest Angus Beef Sausages
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons instant gravy powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 400g can Mutti Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 400g can Coles Brand Cannellini Beans, rinsed, drained
  • Coles Bakery Rustic Baguette, to serve

    Heat a heavy-based saucepan over medium-high heat. Spray with oil and cook the sausages for 2-3 mins or until golden brown. Transfer to a plate. Add the onion to the pan and cook for 1 min or until softened. Add garlic and cook for 30 secs. Return the sausages to the pan.

    Stir in the gravy powder to coat. Add water, tomatoes and rosemary. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 10 mins or until the sauce thickens slightly and sausages are cooked through. Stir in beans. Season with pepper. Serve with bread.
