Makes 3 or 4 cups
- 2 large red apples (400g), peeled, cored, cut into 8 wedges
- 1 medium plum (110g), halved, stone removed
- 3 teaspoon water
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan-forced. Line a small oven tray with baking paper.
Place fruit close together on baking tray. Sprinkle with the water. Roast for 20 minutes or until tender.
Transfer fruit to a small bowl and add vanilla. Mash with a fork to desired consistency.
