Ingredients

500g lamb mince

1/2 cup packaged dried breadcrumbs

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 garlic clove, crushed

1 tablespoon harissa seasoning

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

4 pita pockets, cut into wedges

220g tub beetroot hummus

1 baby gem lettuce, leaves separated

1 carrot, cut into long strips
-
100g perino duet tomatoes, halved

1 lebanese cucumber, cut into ribbons
Method

1Combine mince, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic and seasoning in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Roll mixture into 3cm balls.

2Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook meatballs for 5 minutes, turning, until browned all over and cooked through.

3Serve meatballs with pita, dip, lettuce, carrot, tomato and cucumber
