250g plain flour

1 pinch salt, plus more for water

1 Massel chicken style stock cube

2 green onions, thinly sliced

200g chopped cooked chicken, optional

Method

1Insert angel hair pasta shaping disc to Philips Pasta & Noodle Maker. Open lid of appliance. Turn on appliance and select the pasta without egg function. Add flour and a pinch of salt. Close lid. Press start and slowly pour 90ml water into opening on lid. Place a large bowl under appliance to catch noodles and cut regularly as noodles appear.

2Meanwhile, bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil over high heat. Add noodles and swirl in water with tongs. Bring back to the boil. Reduce heat and boil for 2 minutes or until al dente. Drain.

3Dissolve chicken stock cube in a large jug with 2 cups (500ml) boiling water. Divide noodles between 2 bowls. Sprinkle with onion and pour over chicken stock. Add chopped chicken, if desired.
