Healthy banana smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ice
  • 1 banana, roughly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons plain yoghurt
  • 3 tablespoons almond meal
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut meal
  • 1 teaspoon linseed meal
  • Honey, to taste
  • Milk, to taste

Method

    Layer the ingredients in the blender in the following order: Ice, followed by banana, then add the yoghurt, nut meal and seeds. Add a drizzle of honey, to taste. Finally add the milk making sure that the milk level does not go above the rest of the mix. This way your smoothie will not be too runny.

    Blend on high for about 30 seconds and serve.
