Cinnamon and pear porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup milk, plus extra to serve (extra 1/4 cup)
  • 1/4 poached pear, chopped
  • Blueberries, to serve
  • Ground cinnamon, to serve

Method

    In a saucepan combine oats and milk. Bring to boil over low heat, stirring constantly.

    Mix in pears. Simmer 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy. Remove from heat. Serve topped with blueberries and a dusting of cinnamon.
