Candy cane hearts

  • 24 candy canes


  • You must have a fan-forced oven for this recipe
  • Ribbon, to decorate

    Preheat oven to 170C fan forced (must be fan-forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Trim 3cm off the end of candy canes. Place 2 candy canes on the tray, facing each other and overlapping at the ends to make a heart shape. Repeat to make 3 hearts.

    Bake for 4-5 minutes or until the ends start to bubble slightly. Remove from oven. Carefully press the ends to seal. Set aside for 15 minutes to cool and set. Repeat with remaining candy canes. Decorate with ribbon and hang or use as a table decoration.
