Bean and hazelnut mash

Ingredients

  • 2 x 400g cans cannellini beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut meal
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil, extra

Method

  • 1
    Process the beans, garlic, hazelnut meal and oil in a food processor until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a small saucepan. Add milk. Stir until combined.

    Heat mixture over low heat for 10 minutes or until warm. Serve drizzled with extra oil.
