Baked sweet and sour pork ribs

Ingredients

  • 5cm piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2/3 cup plum sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 kg pork ribs
  • 1 cup water
  • steamed white rice, to serve

Method

    Combine ginger, garlic, plum sauce, vinegar, and soy sauce in a large bowl. Add pork ribs and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 180°C.

    Place ribs onto a roasting rack in a greased baking dish. Pour in water. Bake for 1 hour, basting occasionally. Serve with steamed rice.
